THE SCENT: For this beard oil I used the following ingredients: The spicy fresh scents of tea tree and bergamot combine wonderfully with the fruity citrus scents from mandarin, grapefruit and lemongrass. The earthy undertones of lemongrass enhance the whole and everything is topped off by the sweet and floral scents of the neroli. A storm of scents with a summery touch in a wonderfully soft beard oil.
THE BASIS: The basis for this oil is the combination of organic coconut oil and Castor oil. Coconut oil has a good protective effect for both your skin and your (beard) hair. Coconut has a solid shape at temperatures below 30° C., so it can happen that it solidifies in your bottle. Just heat it up and the oil will become liquid again. Castor oil is oil from the castor tree, and this tree has that name for a reason. The oil is viscous and has strong moisturizing properties. It also gives your beard a nice shine. Both oils are thick and firm, which is why they give this beard oil a solid foundation. Furthermore, we use pure Argan oil also a miracle cure for both skin and hair. Grape Kernel Oil is full of vitamins and is also well absorbed by your beard and skin. These last two oils are thin and give the whole thing the right consistency. Baobab oil you don't see much in beard oils, and that's something we think is a shame because it does wonders for your hair. It has a restorative effect and makes your hair more elastic (so less vulnerable). Finally, we have added Vitamin E oil which has a preserving effect for the oil but also a nice caring effect for your skin and hair.

Ik heb meerdere baardoliën geprobeerd van deze oliebaron. En Summerstorm is mijn favoriet, zowel qua geur als verzorging. Mijn baard heeft niet alleen de kleur van koperdraad maar is ook stug. Deze dikkere olie wint het gevecht van mijn baard.

Een fijne frisse geur. Door het gebruik van kokos olie was ik bang dat er een sterke ondertoon van kokosgeur zou zijn maar heb hier helemaal niks van gemerkt. De olie is wat dik en smeert makkelijk.

Summer storm is een zeer fijne zomerse geur voor in de baard. Heerlijk in deze warme maanden, je kijkt gelijk zonnig naar de dag. De olie is iets dikker dan de meeste andere, wat ik zelf zeer fijn vind gezien het de baard iets in toom houd. Kortom weer een dikke aanrader van dutchbeards.
